United States President Donald Trump says his government played no part in Israel’s unprecedented attack of Iran.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump warned Iran against including the US in its retaliatory strikes.

“The U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran tonight,” he wrote.

“If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.

“However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict.”

Earlier, Trump issued a warning to Iran following Israeli air strikes on Iranian military sites, stating that the 60-day deadline for a new nuclear agreement had elapsed.

“Iran must make a deal before there is nothing left. Just do it, before it is too late,” he wrote.

In retaliation, Iran unleashed ballistic missiles into Israeli territory on Saturday.

Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, said Israel had “initiated a war” and would not be allowed to carry out “hit and run” attacks without consequences.
